Terms of use

Last updated: 14 May 2026

What this is

VigFi (the "service") is a paper-play prediction-market platform operated by VigFi (in formation). By creating an account or otherwise using the service you agree to these terms.

Paper play only

Today the service is paper-play only. You receive a €10,000 demo balance on signup. This balance has no monetary value, cannot be deposited, withdrawn, or converted to anything outside the service. There is no payment, no KYC, no licence to operate real-money gaming yet.

Eligibility

  • You must be 18 or older.
  • You must not access the service from a jurisdiction where doing so would breach local law.
  • One account per person. Multi-accounting may result in closure.

Acceptable use

Don't break us, don't break the law, don't be a jerk:

  • No automated scraping or load testing without our written permission.
  • No attempts to manipulate market settlements (e.g. hijacking source data).
  • No abusive content directed at the team or other players.

Markets and settlement

Each market names its settlement source up front. We will use that source in good faith. If a settlement source becomes unavailable we may extend the window or void the market; voided tickets return your stake. We publish the raw source response and a SHA-256 hash for every settlement so you can verify our work.

Service availability

The service is provided "as is". We make no guarantees of uptime or accuracy. We may pause or shut down the service at any time, with or without notice, particularly during regulatory changes.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to €100. Because the service involves no real money today, this limit is largely theoretical, but we state it for clarity.

Closing your account

You can ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing hello@vigfi.com. We may also close accounts that violate these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Latvian law. Any dispute will be settled in the competent courts of Latvia.

Changes

We may update these terms; the "Last updated" date is canonical. Material changes will be emailed to registered users.
