Privacy policy

VigFi (in formation), operating vigfi.com, builds a paper-trade prediction-market platform. The data controller for everything described here is the same legal entity. We can be reached at hello@vigfi.com.

• Account basics: your email address, an optional display name, a bcrypt-hashed password. Required to log you in and credit your demo balance.
• Activity logs: tickets you place, your demo wallet ledger, the markets you settle. This is your record of play.
• Technical metadata: server-side request logs (IP, user-agent, status code, timestamp) retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse investigation.

We do not collect: cookies for tracking, third-party analytics identifiers, advertising identifiers, geolocation, biometric data, payment information (because there are no payments yet), or KYC documents (not required at paper stage).

• Operate your account (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR — performance of contract).
• Keep the service secure (Article 6(1)(f) — legitimate interest).
• Comply with applicable law (Article 6(1)(c)).

Data is stored on self-hosted infrastructure in the European Union (Hetzner, Germany). It is not transferred to processors in third countries. Inside the company, only the operator can access it; we do not share it with any other party except where compelled by valid legal process.

• Account data: while your account is active. Deleted on request.
• Wallet ledger: kept indefinitely while the account exists, deleted on closure.
• Server logs: 30 days, then rotated.

Under GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, delete, restrict, port, or object to processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. Email hello@vigfi.com with the subject line "GDPR request"; we'll reply within one calendar month.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — for Latvia that is Datu valsts inspekcija.

VigFi is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

If this policy changes materially we will email registered users. The "Last updated" date at the top is the canonical version.
